Call Forwarding Instructions - Android

Learn how to forward your calls from an Android device to ServiceForge live receptionists.

Forwarding your calls to ServiceForge from an Android phone takes just a minute.

Please note: These steps are based on a standard Android interface. Depending on your device's make, model, and Android version, what you see may vary slightly. If anything looks different, check your device's user manual or reach out to us and we'll help.

Set Up Call Forwarding

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.

  2. Select Call Settings (or type "Call Settings" into the search bar and select it).

  3. Select Call forwarding.

  4. Choose one of the four options:

    • Always forward - every call routes to ServiceForge.

    • When busy - only when you're already on a call.

    • When unanswered - only when you don't pick up.

    • When unreached - when your phone has no signal, is in airplane mode, or is switched off.

  5. Enter your ServiceForge number as the forwarding destination.

  6. Tap Turn on to confirm.

Test It

Make a test call to your device from another phone. It should route straight to ServiceForge.

Turn Off Forwarding

To stop forwarding, return to the same Call forwarding settings and turn off the option you set up.

If Forwarding Isn't Working

If forwarding doesn't behave as expected, it may need to be set up through your mobile carrier instead of your device. You'll need to contact them to configure it on their end, and we're happy to jump on that call with you if it helps.
