Call Forwarding Instructions - Xfinity / Comcast

Learn how to forward your calls from Xfinity / Comcast to ServiceForge live receptionists.

Forwarding your Xfinity / Comcast calls to ServiceForge takes a couple of minutes. You've got two options: a quick star code from your phone, or your online account if you'd rather manage it there.

Option 1: Forward From Your Phone (Star Codes)

To turn on call forwarding:

  1. Dial *72 followed by your ServiceForge account number (e.g. *721234567890).

  2. If someone answers, stay on the line for at least five seconds until forwarding activates.

  3. Confirm it's on by dialing *72 again.

  4. A busy signal means it's working.

To turn off call forwarding:

  1. Dial *73.

  2. Listen for two beeps, then hang up.

Option 2: Forward From Your Online Account

Managing forwarding online lets you set it up without dialing codes.

  1. Sign in to your Comcast account.

  2. From the Services menu, select Business VoiceEdge User.

  3. Expand Feature Settings and select Call Forwarding.

  4. Click the pencil icon and enter the number you want to forward to (your ServiceForge number).

  5. Click the checkmark to confirm.

If Forwarding Isn't Working

If neither method works, your call forwarding may be configured directly through your phone provider. You'll need to contact them to set it up on their end, and we're happy to jump on that call with you if it helps.
