Buffer time is invisible to customers. They see the service duration on your Booking Page, not the extra time you've built in.
Example: You've got a 30-minute service call, but it takes 10 minutes to pack up and get to the next site. Add a 10-minute buffer. Your calendar blocks 40 minutes total, so you're not running behind.
Add Buffer Time to a Service (Mobile App)
Go to Services and select the service you want to update.
Tap 'Buffer time' and choose the duration.
Press Update to save.
Add Buffer Time to a Service (Web App)
Go to Services and select the service.
Click Buffer time and select the length.
Click Update. Done.
